One of the most popular herbal teas. Also known as red tea or red-bush tea. Indigenous to South Africa it can be brewed as strong as you like while keeping its earthy flavour. Can be consumed in a similar way to strong black tea or for a more subtle drink, infuse it short and add a teaspoon of honey.
Rooibos is made using leaves from a shrub called Aspalathus linearis and is indigenous to South Africa.

About Herbal/Other Teas
Herbal teas are referred to as “tisanes” and fit into the category of other teas – here leaves, stems, bark, roots or any portion of a plant infused in water to release its benefits. Steeping the herbs/ingredients in hot water brings out the plants’ benefits by releasing the active ingredients, such as essential oils.
